RFID intelligent management of mine assets and equipment

In some coal mines and mine site operations, vehicles are important operating tools. How to make the sand, soil and coal pulling engineering vehicles well managed? Some of these operating vehicles work 24 hours a day, and they need to be registered, billed, weighed and other requirements. Due to the harsh environment in the mining area, it is difficult for workers to register vehicles outdoors for a long time; RFID technology has become an important means of management. RFID technology allows the mine vehicle entry and exit management system to realize automatic registration and entry and exit, effectively improving the efficiency of management work, and RFID mine asset equipment intelligent management.

There are a large number of mining vehicles entering and exiting the mine every day, and parking, registration, weighing and other procedures are required. The operator manually enters the data into the computer, which is not only time-consuming, but also has a large error rate. In addition, it is easy to breed human fraud and cause a lot of economic losses to the company. The mine vehicle management system combines RFID technology, electronic truck scale technology, communication technology, automatic control technology, database technology and computer network technology to automatically record the license plate number, weight information, time information, etc. of vehicles equipped with electronic tags entering and leaving the mine, and write them into the host database, which can effectively eliminate human errors, prevent over-weighing blockage, cheating, etc., ensure the accuracy of original data collection, and reduce economic losses.

All vehicles entering the mine are managed intelligently, and each vehicle entering the mine to transport ore is required to be equipped with a special RFID electronic tag for transporting ore. The special RFID electronic tag contains the name of the owner of the ore transport vehicle, tare/license plate number/material type/net weight/loading location/destination/printing time, year, month, day, etc. Three weighing points are set in the transportation route. When the ore transport vehicle passes the truck scale for weighing, the reader is triggered to read the card. The reader transmits the information in the vehicle tag to the host, and instructs the electronic scale to transmit the vehicle weight information. The mine management system can automatically measure the weight of the ore transported through the information when the ore transport vehicle passes the weighing point, and call the data in the host database at any time for query or report generation.

The mine vehicle management system consists of two parts: the truck weighing automatic metering system and the computer monitoring management system. The truck weighing automatic metering system is mainly composed of weight sensors and weighing display instruments, which mainly complete the functions of weight data collection and communication with the host computer. The computer monitoring management system is composed of computers, printers, radio frequency identification systems, controllers, gates, vehicle detectors, cameras, and video cards. It mainly completes weighing monitoring, printing scales, identifying identities, generating various summary statistical reports, and comprehensive query functions.

After loading the ore, the ore transporter needs to enter the truck weighing track again for weighing. The vehicle detector installed at the crossing senses that a vehicle has entered and transmits the signal to the gate and signal light in front. The gate is immediately closed and the signal light turns red, prompting the driver to drive slowly, and at the same time requiring the weighing instrument and reader to start working. After the tag on the ore transporter is read by the reader, the reader antenna transmits the information of the vehicle to the host, instructing the electronic scale to start transmitting the weight information of the vehicle. At the same time, the camera monitors whether the vehicle is parked at the designated location and captures the image. When the host receives the card number and weight information, it accurately records and backs up the information.

RFID technology solves the needs of safe transportation management of mining vehicles, ensures accurate measurement of coal, correct billing, and safe transportation, fundamentally fills management loopholes, optimizes business processes, improves management level, and improves work efficiency.
