Lastly, monitoring the remaining volume of liquid is based on how the RFID tag signal is affected by the decreasing liquid surface. The reader detects changes in the tag signal and analyzes the data to determine the remaining volume in the infusion bag.
The design of the intelligent infusion monitoring system is divided into hardware and software parts. In terms of hardware design, the system uses high-performance RFID readers and antennas. For example, the chosen reader can support multiple antenna expansions, improving the accuracy and reading rate of information acquisition. The selected antennas are waterproof and dustproof, suitable for medical environments.
